Are you suggesting willfulness is simply a result of the biochemical physics that is going on in our brains?-Obviously, I read it from my viewpoint. To your question, no, 'willfulness' is my control over my thoughts which I control in my brain. Thus I can override underlying biochemical influences, if there are any, which I strongly doubt. I'll bet you do the same thing.
