Different in degree or kind: weaver bird knots (Introduction)

Found them. Did they learn to do this bit by bit or all at once? Or were they given the instructions? It is beyond my belief that they figured this out on their own. I'll continue to do the research to support my point of view, while everyone else seems to rely on their imagination.
