Different in degree or kind (Introduction)

Tony: Clearly points to the interbreeding between the lineages. Which would suggest either that A.) They are all sub-species of a single parent species and hence different in degrees, or B) They are all the same species.

What is the purpose of living? How about, 'to reduce needless suffering. It seems to me to be a worthy purpose.
