So please don't argue that reductive materialism is wrong in relation to human consciousness and right in relation to brainless organisms. - DAVID: And I will keep repeating that single cell reactions can be broken down to simple or complex molecular processes, and the molecules appear to follow information they contain. Nothing more. - Yes of course you will stick to your rigid belief. And I will simply point out that some experts disagree with you, and that when you reject reductive materialism as an explanation for the intelligent behaviour of humans (and, to a lesser degree, of our fellow animals), and you accept reductive materialism as an explanation for the intelligent behaviour of bacteria, your argument smacks of double standards. - ****** - dhw: Thank you for the “Kabbalah view”. I made a start, but found it very hard going. I'll try again when I have a bit more time. - DAVID: I did the best I could.
