There may have never been a source, origin or ground zero for anything that IS but what IS. The reason we can find no 'source" of all that IS "out there" is because there is nothing other than what IS.-Intelligence cannot exist free-floating by itself. It must have some substrate, as you indicate in energy and/or matter. You seem to agree with me that 'something' has always existed to supply the initial intelligence behind this reality.
