Thank you for your response. I now understand (please correct me if I am wrong) that you treat every word in the Bible (both OT & NT) as a revelation of God's every thought. I did not intend to start a debate about Young Earth Creationism, I just wanted to know how seriously you took the Bible in its literal meanings, to better judge any debate we might enter into. The reasons for your beliefs you threw into your last paragraph as a sort of 'defense' of your position are beside the point, but they do make you look very defensive, however, I doubt that you are insecure in your beliefs. Were you afraid of our response? You have every right to accept a 6-10,000-year-old Earth if you wish. And you must realize that there is NO way you can convince me that your belief is correct.
