How reliable is science? new carbon dating problems (The limitations of science)

So, without knowing precisely what the carbon ratio was in the atmosphere at every single stage of Earth's history, then we can not know how reliable the dates are for any given find because the atmospheric carbon would contaminate the result. -
Gee... I seem to recall that I've been bagging on carbon dating for years now because the results are inconsistent and questionable.

What is the purpose of living? How about, 'to reduce needless suffering. It seems to me to be a worthy purpose.
