The Arts (Art)

some of us are satisfied just to call it a mystery. - It is an absolute mystery, and is best described as an emergent property of the brain. Roger Penrose, in his book, "The Emperor's New mind", states that Artificial Intelligence research will never create a mind in a computer. I'll bet he is correct. I suspect our 'mind' is a holographic quantum effect that extends beyond the simple reality of three dimensions seen upon examining a brain at autopsy. PET scans, MRI's and CAT scans may light up some functioning areas during thinking, but they cannot show 'thinking' as it really is.
