I am happy with the argument that there are different kinds of belief, involving voluntary and involuntary processes, and that there is a distinction between thinking something exists, trusting that something has certain qualities, and holding opinions. The gap between us is therefore so narrow that I suggest we close the thread. I'm grateful for your patient explanations!
