Fair enough. If that's where you are, I definitely don't want to even try to talk you out of it. - But I would like to point out the merits of splitting. If you take a machine apart, examine the parts, then put it back together, you have a greater understanding of it than you would have had otherwise. If you then see someone else having trouble with the same machine, you are more likely to be able to help him with it.
