Book review of Nature\'s I.Q. (Evolution)

DT asks in the ("How did Sex Pop Up?" thread): "What of some of the cooperative actions I presented in Nature's IQ? With chance mutation and natural selection, I seriously wonder how it works."-I've not responded to all the cases listed by DT in this "Natures IQ" thread because I'm not a biologist, so my replies would only be quoting the experts. Perfectly adequate explanations of all these cases are to be found in the evolutionary literature. Indeed, Darwin's theory, together with its modern improvements, is the only adequate explanation of these phenomena. -I understand why DT is scouring the literature for examples of strange adaptations, to try to support his thesis of design, but the same literature also offers explanations of these adaptations. They cannot be dismissed as he often does as "just so stories".
