Ummm....if we have such a clear picture than why are scientist constantly surprised by their discoveries? (Read: Why don't their new discoveries don't fit with their 'pretty clear picture'?)

What is the purpose of living? How about, 'to reduce needless suffering. It seems to me to be a worthy purpose.
