I definitely agree with the different vantage point, but that is at least in part due to my own beliefs. I do not think things will 'continue as they have since the days of our forefathers.' The current world system cannot sustain it's own weight. The symptoms are everywhere if you open your eyes enough to see beyond your bubble.

What is the purpose of living? How about, 'to reduce needless suffering. It seems to me to be a worthy purpose.
