This is not unexpected. Any student of religion has known that religion would come under harsh attack. Eventually, the major world religions will fall to a combination of attacks both political and social, and also due to their on iniquity. . It is only a matter of time.

What is the purpose of living? How about, 'to reduce needless suffering. It seems to me to be a worthy purpose.
