dhw: No-one knows what lies behind it all. If theists could look beyond their various blinkered visions of a supreme being, and if atheists could look beyond their blinkered belief that thereâ€™s NOTHING behind it all except materials hitting on a lucky formula, they would all be able to see that the mechanisms of life and evolution reveal a form of intelligence as yet unknown to us. We shall probably never find out how it came about in the first place, but we should keep an open mind as we consider all its astonishing manifestations, in whatever form.

DJT: You have arrived at my point of view, whether you realize it or not. My UI is what you are describing, 'as yet unknown to us'.

Sounds very similar to mine as well, David. Maybe we are developing a foundation here, even if the foundation is invisible or un-named, it's there!
