Habermas/Humphreys resurrection debate (Introduction)

I've never before heard the Snow White resurrection story being used to compare with the biblical story of Jesus, as Humphreys does here! He compares the seven dwarfs to the twelve apostles. It's amusing, but not likely to convince any christians, though one can see the logic behind his reasoning. - Habermas bases his case on the epistles of Paul, or at least those authenticated by most scholars, and their closeness in time to the supposed events (twenty years or more after). But one only needs to read books now written about the assassinations of the Kennedy brothers or Martin Luther King, at a time when we have actual film of the events, and actual recording of eye-witness accounts, to see how different interpretations are put on them. - If we cannot be certan about recent history what hope is there of an accurate account of events 2000 or more years ago? Especially if they involve events that are now believed to be impossible. We cannot possibly determine with any certainty whether they were fabrications, halucinations, conspiracies or whatever.
