If, given enough pressure, a bone cell can be coaxed into a neuron, or skin cell, or an eye cell... then it stands to reason that the same plasticity applies to the entire organism.-That may explain changes, but it does not explain the innovation of new 'designs' that would require an influx of new information.

What is the purpose of living? How about, 'to reduce needless suffering. It seems to me to be a worthy purpose.
