I just thought people here might enjoy this video-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AC7ANGMy0yo&feature=youtube_gdata-How does agnosticism engage with all this?-I thought the image of future enlightenment - a levitating guru - was amusing, but probably symptomatic of what is wrong with this thesis.

I thought the image of future enlightenment - a levitating guru - was amusing, but probably symptomatic of what is wrong with this thesis.-I found the cartoons mildly amusing at first, but then irritating, and although one can hardly object to the general message ... which simply amounts to "love thy neighbour" ... it really doesn't need to be wrapped up in so much waffle. Enlightenment? Thesis? All he's saying is that we've made a lot of progress in some areas of "empathy", not much in others, and need to do more in the future. Yep.

An adolescent appeal to love everybody regardless.
