Requires having worship of a God. Start a 501C organization to promote your ideas and the IRS might allow it.

should Agnosticism be a religion?

John the Agnostic asks: "Should agnostics form an organized religion? I personally can see many pros and cons to this, but the tax exempt status keeps calling me. Also I think it would help to delineate us from confirmed atheists."-As David says, it would be pretty difficult to organize a religion with no gods and no beliefs. The Church of Latter-Day Ain'ts? -It's interesting that there are plenty of associations for atheists and agnostics, but not for theists and agnostics. And yet in principle, we should be equidistant from all such sets of philosophies. You're right, the distinction needs to be made clearer, though I don't think you'll have any such problem on this forum.-T.H. Huxley's original coinage denoted the philosophical position that it is impossible to know whether God exists or not ... though in epistemological terms I think everyone on this website has recognized that according to such a definition even the Pope and Richard Dawkins would have to proclaim themselves agnostics. Nowadays we use the term more loosely, to mean we can't make up our minds. This might provide a way into your taxman's heart: on your journey through life you are still searching for religious truth, so perhaps you can claim your travel expenses.
