Sorry; taking some time off (Introduction)

The combination of work and school right now is a massive juggling act, and for the time being I can't also juggle the intellectual demands of this forum; rest assured however that quite soon I shall return. I plan on tackling the book "Programming the Universe" by Seth Lloyd over winter break. George(?) mentioned this previously, that all particles in the universe carry information and the universe processes this information. It's a computational perspective on this grand question, and one that well--for obvious reasons--appeals to me. -http://www.amazon.com/Programming-Universe-Quantum-Computer-Scientist/dp/1400033861/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1259704880&sr=8-1-My wife picked that up for me when at the "thrifty" bookstore here in town. $2usd.

\"It is, brahmin, because of attachment to views, adherence to views, fixation on views, addiction to views, obsession with views, holding firmly to views that ascetics fight with ascetics.\"

Matt is juggling with work and school, but will soon return to the forum.***-I really appreciate the fact that you've let us know, because I was getting a bit concerned by your unusual silence. You've made a tremendous contribution to our discussions, but you have to get your priorities right, and the forum should certainly trail a long way behind wife, work and school! I'm sure I'm not the only one, though, who will eagerly await your comeback.-Thank you also for introducing Frank to the site. He's engendered some very lively discussions with lots of new and interesting ideas, and I'm sorry if ... as I suspect ... he's been put off by the difficult quest for coherence.-*** Just seen your two latest posts. This must be the quickest return on record. Welcome back!

Don't judge Frank too harshly. He has contributed a great deal, and I don't think he is so soft, that a few tough questions or comments drove him off. His theology is comfortable for him, as it allows him certain latitudes to accept postions that normally are not compatable. It is designed to fit his experiences and needs. I've done the same thing in my own way. And we are both panentheists; interesting.
