Best and Most Convincing (Animals)

dhw, - Even after having been Buddhist, the argument you give in support of respect for animals is probably one of the most fresh and convincing, and the only one using evolution to support its premise that I have ever read. Usually evolution is used to support some form of man's superiority over animals in the animal rights debate. - It is quite similar to the Buddhist argument which suggests that since we are all part of the same cosmos, killing an animal is no different than killing a part of yourself.

I think you are the first contributor to comment on this section, which is one that I feel very deeply about. I knew we'd agree on something in the end!

I itch to get out of the chance discussion but I have one more perspective to share... as well as what I'm sure has to be a lengthy reply to your own lengthy reply to my previous lengthy reply... (Sorry, I like British humor... I couldn't resist.)
