No one knows if there is a multiverse, or how many of them exist, but that doesn't stop the theorists wasting time with theories about which one of the 10^500 universes we happen to be in. Interesting point:-"It's something that Nobel laureate in Physics, Eugene Wigner lectured on in 1960 in a talk entitled "The Unreasonable Effectiveness of Mathematics in the Natural Sciences":-"The miracle of the appropriateness of the language of mathematics for the formulation of the laws of physics is a wonderful gift which we neither understand nor deserve.
