Evolution: Adapability of stickleback fish (Introduction)

I am not particularly impressed with this study or their interpretation of the data. For one, there was nothing NEW developed in any of these changes, only a modification of what already existed. This is akin to the Dutch developing a tolerance for lactose. Less armor or more armor is no different than less hair more hair. Now, if one group had developed something NEW, had innovated something, I would be more impressed. Interesting research, unsurprising results.-To me the adaptability of the renal function is more important.
