I've only had time to read the first article, but wow... what an interesting read. -From a scientific perspective, I recall that individuals that had the greatest problem-solving ability had especially active corpus collosums. (Bridge between the two hemispheres for the anatomically challenged...)-As I've been meditating alot more the past few weeks, as well as upping my "dose" of associated writings... you begin to notice exactly when you're using one kind of process as opposed to the other. -Both Buddhism and Hinduism seem focused on developing that "System 1" as it were... -And I fully agree with that focus. My readings of Catholic mystics also support the notion that mystics of all kinds have a similar focus. The article's reference to the Zohar especially...
