However, as you are all aware I have a lot of catching up to do.-David, I know I said I would finish your book over holiday, but at the last minute I made the decision that I didn't want to bring a highlighter to the beach! >_< -That, and a book beckoned to me that I had long been meaning to read, "The Brother's Karamazov," by Dostoevsky. I had no idea the book was such a treasure of high and lofty ideas... many of which directly touch upon our discussions here. -No solutions however, but I have a much... MUCH better appreciation for the topic of "Christian Love" and the book itself presents a very excellently hidden discussion about science and truth that I found will help our discussions... though in some respects the trail might not be new. -The book was recommended to me by my teacher of the philosophy of Nietzsche. Nietzsche wrote of Dostoevsky "That [he] is the only psychologist from which I had something to learn." After you read Dostoevsky and then Emerson... I think you get a very DEEP idea on what N's philosophy is really about.

\"Why is it, Master, that ascetics fight with ascetics?\"

\"It is, brahmin, because of attachment to views, adherence to views, fixation on views, addiction to views, obsession with views, holding firmly to views that ascetics fight with ascetics.\"
