Carl: Man has disconnected from evolution as Darwin knew it. Try to project a future of such power growing exponentially controlled by intelligent beings. What would it look like in a thousand years. - The intelligent beings controlling everything will most likely be the computers. Artificial Intelligence. Or perhaps a hybrid of humans and computers, transhumans.
