self education (Agnosticism)

It amazes me that most religious people do not seem to have ever read any good books on basic biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy, cosmology, or any books on the basic principles of the evolution of life on earth. If they were to bother reading a little of each of these subjects, [assuming that they can read, and actually understand what they read,] then they may grasp the fact that 'life' is not a mysterious or miraculous event at all. There are many easy to understand text books which are specifically written for young people and all students that are new to all these sciences, and which give a person a basic understanding of all the true and proven 'facts' as a good basis of absolute common sense knowledge. These are mostly school books, and only contain the factual evidence of experts in each field as has been proven by experiment and real observation. This is what everyone should do before even beginning to argue about the writings of such great people as Darwin, Einstein, and todays brilliant biologist and writer Richard Dawkins, who have spent their lives learning and understanding the very real facts about their chosen life subjects in order to give you the benefit of all their dedicated hard work! If only all agnostics and religious believers had read the books that contain the 'facts' instead of the superstitious make-believe propoganda in the bible [or any other such home-made, self-interested, scaremongering fiction.] I don't think many people today even know what horrors are contained in the original bible stories and religious writings, such as the writings of Imam khomeini in the 'tahrir-ul-vaseela' who shows just how religion is used to ensure that he and his kind are free to use and abuse all lifes creatures without guilt. See the Dr Homa Darabi Foundation website - [http://www.homa.org] Its quite shocking how religion can be used as a cover and an excuse for this mans perverse sexual behaviour. How many more gullible people will believe in the 'word of god' that has never really been heard at all by anyone. The ulterior motive is clear for religion, whereas believing in science has no such threats and consequences. It is just a case of learning and obtaining knowledge and can never be considered evil or dangerous. I know for a fact, 100%, that there is no such thing as a 'god' because I have bothered to learn the facts and truths about life in the universe, and I really do understand how it can all work without such a thing as magic, miracles or supernatural intervention. I suggest that all agnostics read and learn as much as possible, as this is the only way you will become actually qualified to make up your own mind once and for all. At least you will not remain easy prey for those who would otherwise be in a position to manipulate you as would a puppeteer with his puppets.
