Government science complex (Introduction)

Like the military industrial complex Eisenhauer warned about as he left office there is a government grant science complex which creates income for folks who work in science. We have discussed this before. And some of them are crooks and fabricate results that cannot be repeated. In some cases it appears to be sloppy work.
