\"Why is it, Master, that ascetics fight with ascetics?\"

\"It is, brahmin, because of attachment to views, adherence to views, fixation on views, addiction to views, obsession with views, holding firmly to views that ascetics fight with ascetics.\"

> Does he say anything new?-Nothing new, except the old fossilized myths that each step in the lab, under intelligent guidance, can occur. Of course they can occur with intelligent guidance. There is no evidence that any of this did occur in the beginning. The clays were mentioned by Shapiro in Origins. The discussion leaves out the necessary energies required with heat; the enzymes that must be present were left out. The problem of chirality, what problem? If it is ignored then it doesn't present a problem, then there is no problem. Shapiro tossed out this antiquated thinking with his proposal, before he died, about 2007, I think that a simple inorganic chemical energy cycle was much more preferrable than proposing, gung ho, that the theory should go straigt for RNA world. There are now several articles on how complex the initial one-celled organisms had to be, once DNA was around.-In summary, same old, same old.

A new same old, same old from Stuart Kauffman, emergent bands of molecules and lots of theory. Anything is possible, proves nothing:-http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/11/121126131307.htm
