\"Why is it, Master, that ascetics fight with ascetics?\"
\"It is, brahmin, because of attachment to views, adherence to views, fixation on views, addiction to views, obsession with views, holding firmly to views that ascetics fight with ascetics.\"
A Debate About Inflation: BBT Criticized
http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=the-inflation-summer-I read his article last year in the print edition. In 2002 he and Turok used string membrane theory to present a cyclical universe with ours being one membrane and banging into another membrane close by to start everything all over again. (Science, Vol. 296, Issue 5572, 1436-39, 5/24/02.) I still consider him a string theorist, not a thoughtful theorist.
