I shall be away until the New Year, provided the weather allows us to leave these snowbound shores. If there are any technical problems with the site, please contact Neil directly. (See the link in the bottom right-hand corner.) Meanwhile:-To agnostics and to atheists,
To Buddhists and Hindus,
To deists and panentheists,
To Muslims, Christians, Jews:
Milk life for everything it's worth,
For it's a marvellous show,
And that is all ye know on earth,
And all ye need to know.-(With apologies to Mr Keats)-Happy Christmas, folks, and all the best for the New Year.

My thanks to BBella for her good wishes, which were duly fulfilled! We got away despite the blizzards, and spent nearly two weeks visiting such legendary places as Marrakech, Fez, Rabat, Meknès...In all the towns we were woken at around 5.30 am by God's representatives on Earth crying "Allahu Akbar" (God is the Greatest), though why he and we need to be reminded of this so early in the morning is beyond my comprehension.-The forum has evidently been busy in my absence, and I'll try to catch up in the next few days. However, I see that two challenges were laid down on the day of my departure by George and Romansh, and by Tony, so I hope everyone will forgive me if I respond, even though discussions have moved elsewhere in the interim.-As AgnosticWeb is soon to celebrate its third birthday, I'd like to thank all contributors for maintaining both the standard and the general courtesy of these discussions, from which I myself have learned and continue to learn an enormous amount. I'd like in particular to thank George and David, who have been with us almost from the very beginning, and have helped to keep the balance between the poles as well as providing us with a constant supply of important references. One more big thank you to Neil, whose technical expertise suggests a touch of the divine. -Here's to a happy, healthy and enlightening 2011 for all of us.

Happy holidays to all of you! I wish the very best for you and your families. Safe travels, and drink in the moments, they are to few, and too far between. -
Happy Holidays,

We're off to the mythical wilds of Cornwall ...
Conducive I'm sure to deep reflection ...
Returning home on Easter Monday
(Just in time for the Resurrection).-Meanwhile, may something substantial emerge
From all our learned huffin' and puffin',
Despite the cockney philosopher's claim
That nobody never gets somefin' fer nuffin'.-If there should be any problems with the website, please contact Neil directly (see bottom right-hand corner of the page). Happy Easter to everyone.
